Jacob Andersen leads the Wind Power and Renewables business for Siemens in the Americas. In this role, he leads the operational and commercial activities for Siemens onshore wind power in North and South America.
Mr. Andersen started his career with Siemens in 2003, working on the installation of the Nysted offshore wind project in Denmark the world s largest offshore wind farm at that time. He then moved to Siemens global Wind Power headquarters in Denmark in 2004, where he held a number of managerial and executive positions. From 2010 to 2012, he was the Director of Wind Service for the Americas region, based in Houston, Texas. Prior to his most recent position, he led Siemens Wind Power activities in Canada from 2012 to 2014.
Andersen graduated from the Odense Maskinmesterskole University in Denmark, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology Management and Operation.
