While Walt Disney Parks and Resorts already used a range of Siemens products and technologies, the alliance agreement expanded the relationship and paved the way for the two companies to broaden their technical collaborations across several platforms including theme parks, resorts, cruise ships, vacation club and other lines of business. As part of the alliance, Siemens sponsors several attractions at Walt Disney World Resort [FL], including the Epcot icon, Spaceship Earth and the adjoining Project Tomorrow post show area which includes 9,000-square feet of interactive exhibits based on Siemens technology. Other attractions sponsored by Siemens include the nightly light show, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth [Epcot], the holiday light show, Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights [Disney’s Hollywood Studios ], both shows are at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Additional sponsorships include a technology showcase at the Innoventions pavilion in Disneyland®, and iconic it’s a small world attraction at the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim California.. Additionally, the companies are working together to develop and further apply new technologies across a range of platforms, as well as explore ways to integrate some of Siemens technologies into Disney’s current and future attractions and resorts including domestic and international Disney Destinations.

As part of the alliance, Siemens also sponsors the ABC Studio SuperSign in Times Square - New York which includes the Siemens logo. Siemens has a rotating hourly broadcast of Siemens messages on the digital outdoor board and giant HD screen. Siemens also makes the supersign available to its customers and partners as part of its co-marketing programs.
